Do you think it would be annoying if i called?

i've been looking foward to getting this volunteer job at this place called CBVI near me. i've been going there for 2 years to attend their IDEAL program. thats a tranisition program for blind/visualy impaired high school kids that are going to college or work. anyway, im volunteering this summer and the person in charge of getting me trasportation hasnt called me yet (i cant drive so she's going to get transportation for me). anyway, she said she'd get in touch with my by well..yestarday. im really excited about volunteering there and i really want to call and see wuts going on. i already called there on tuesday to talk to the person in charge of transportation. do u think it would be annoying if i called them? i dont wanna come off as annoying...i know someone like that and this person isnt well liked there.
thanks for you answers!!!

You're so enthusiastic!! : ) I think that if you call and apologize for bothering the person and explain that you are really excited that it will be fine. Don't call daily or anything, but if you call before the weekend (that's a good excuse) it should be fine!

Have fun volunteering!!

Since it's Friday, I'd give it a rest over the weekend, and call on Monday afternoon if she hasn't reached you by then. They're lucky to have you, and it's not like you're asking for a job, you're volunteering. So call on Monday.

It would be good if you called, it is something you need to know and important for your work, so it is just being interested in your work kind of call.

Wait until Monday and call. Just tell them that you are excited by the opportunity and was wondering when you would hear from them.

Good luck!

if they were supposed to get back to you by yesterday then i would call and follow up. just be patient if they dont have an answer yet for you. chances are their still working on it.

I would call the person in charge of getting you transportation rather than the transportation department. The person who promised you the transportation.

Go ahead and call. If they said they'd call yesterday it's OK. Just don't call constantly.

Honestly, if you really want to do the volunteer work, I'd call. The person who is supposed to be getting you transportation is human and she might've forgotten or maybe she got so busy she hasn't got time. But, when you call just be polite and ask her if she has had time to find out about the transportation. Don't be afraid of moving forward with something that you really want.

I wouldn't call just yet, you certainly don't want to be annoying! I would wait until Monday. I remember when I owed my friend some money and she asked me about it everyday, I got so annoyed, I didn't give it to her! (It was only like, 75 cents, I don't know why she even cared!) If you call her, she might not give you the job.

I don't think you would be annoting if you called...you WANT to volunteer

Calling the person in charge of arranging your transportation today before the weekend might be a good idea. If she has something lined up but just didn't call yet then you would want to find as soon as possible so you can plan accordingly. If she doesn't have anything arranged yet at least that might possibly be the reminder she needs to take care of transportation for you so they can receive your help.

I would wait until Monday morning and if you haven't heard anything I would call and say something like "I'm really sorry to bother you, but I was wondering what was going on with my transportation. I am really looking forward to helping." They will be nice and see your enthusiasm. Good luck and have fun!!
