"All righty" by Steve Jobs?

When I was watching the keynote lecture by Steve Jobs,
I heard him saying "All righty" many times, instead of All right.

Is it often used in daily English?
Do you often use it? or in what situation do you use it?
How do you feel when you hear "all righty", not "all right"?
Is it all right that we use it in a formal situation.

I say it makes people feel more comfortable
