Steve Jobs: the greatest Jedi ever?

i would definitely say yes, because he is the most successful entrepreneur ever leading the great company Apple against the mighty Evil Empire Microsoft. Apple makes innovative products such as iPod, iPhone, iMac, MacBook, Mac Pro, OS X, Aperture which ultimately grab the heart and soul of every consumer in the world. Jobs is the largest shareholder of Apple and Disney, which owns Pixar, a company founded by a team of ILM renegades. He has come a long way for a guy that used to walk 30 miles to a Hara Krishna temple just to get a great meal, and ultimately became a Buddhist. He was abandoned by his birth parents and adopted by the Jobs couple, which upbring him into a bright, smart, energetic young man. Although I am dissatisfied by the way Apple locks iPhone customers into AT&T, i think every company has the right to make huge profits from its innovative products. have the utmost respect for one the of greatest beings that ever walk on Earth. Do you agree with me?

I've got to admit Steve Jobs is a very good entrepreneur...I personally feel he is the best ever.

And you've got to give the man credit for pulling off one of the greatest come back stories in business history...I mean, seriously, Apple was DEAD and somehow, miraculuously he turned it around. I remember when Michael Dell (of Dell Computers) said when asked what would you do with Apple (when apple was very dead -- before Jobs returned) and Michael said "I'd close the company and give the shareholder 's their money back"....And in less than 10 years Apple is the hottest and one of the biggest computer companies and Dell is a much smaller. How things have changed..And this was solely because of Steve.

The guy has a knack of knowing what the public wants....How does he do that? Every time you think ok Apple is done this guy just figures out something new.....i mean, EVERYTIME! I do have to give credit to the clever team he works with too because without them Steve couldnt execute as precisely (such as that Jonathan Ives --designer for Apple products)....And to think this small rebel crew can affect the world so profoundly in everytihng they do is truly quite amazing...What is in Apple's water if a company like Microsoft of some 100,000 employees cannot come up with a descent mp3 player, etc....And it isn't just Microsoft, the same goes with the phone industry and its gazillion manufacturers and carriers....granted the iPhone isn't the most technologically advanced but the execution of what it does is its magic and where i say "For shame, to the rest of you carriers/manufacturers for not innovating for all these years".

My hat is off to Jobs et al. for continuing to change the world....i hate your pricing scheme (they charge too much -- Fact: this is the reason why they lost the OS wars back in the 80's/90's to Microsoft btw) but their products are a work of art!

At the end of the day, Jobs was true to himself, that speaks volume.
