Why do state jobs get off on holidays when the schools don't and neither do other jobs? |
Why do state jobs get off on holidays when the schools don't and neither do other jobs? Because the state government decides what days their own employees get off. The city and county, which runs the schools, decide the same for their own employees. Because the State usually follow Federally recognized holidays. Besides, I think they knew working parents needed a paid day off while the kids are at school. Each situation is different and your assumptions are not correct all the time. |
