What to do with a political science degree / jobs...?

OK so here's the deal. I graduated about a year ago with a degree in poli sci.

It has been really hard to find a job (gotta love the liberal arts degree). Right now I am doing social work and I absolutely hate it. HATE it to the point where I dread waking up to go to work in the morning. I am constantly anxious and stressed.

I know that I have to go back to school to get a master's if I havw any hope of making money. But I need to work a few more years to save up money.

What jobs should I look for with this degree. Entry level jobs. I have been on all the big sites (monster, careerbuilder) and I cannot find anything.

What specific jobs/areas should I look at. I am looking to get a new job ASAP. I cannot afford to go back to schoo right now.

Thanks!!

I majored in political science and became a Social Studies teacher.

Administrative Assistant is probably your best bet. You might look at trying to work on a political campaign, or working for one of the "PIRGS" or some other community organizing body (e.g. ACORN). The truth is also that you are not working in social work - you are working in human services. Social workers have degree's in social work.
