What are the top sales jobs working from home? i am very good on the phone.?

Keep in mind that any company that asks you for money up front is not legitimate. They are making most of their profits off new sales recruits, not by selling product. Think about it this way... If you applied for a job at McDonald's, they would NEVER ask you to pay them for the opportunity to work there.

There are real telecommuting/online jobs out there, but you must find these through traditional employers. You'll have to be hired on with a company and through hard work and earning trust, they may allow you to telecommute. For example, my neighbor (in Houston) works for a company based in New England. She works via phone/computer and once every 3 or 4 months she travels. Keep in mind, this is a company she's been with for 15 years.

Most of the reponses you'll receive on here will be spam. The links they provide are almost always referral links, meaning THEY get paid if YOU sign up! Envelope stuffing and secret shopping will never be enough to pay the bills. Stay away from the online survey sites too, as from what I've experienced, are all scams that won't pay you.

If you really don't want to get a regular, full-time job, maybe you could sell on Ebay. I used to do this part-time selling overstocks and returns from various catalogs and retail companies. Amazon also allows you to list new/used items, and they charge you no fee unless the item sells.

If you just want to make extra money on the side, maybe you could clean homes (which actually pays VERY well), do lawn maintenance, student tutoring, or consider other creative opportunities.

Good luck!

The Body Shop is now in direct sales, but it not all on the phone. Spa parties, etc. In my opinion this is one of the best sales jobs. I had 4 parties last month and earned $1300. Pretty good for a stay at home mom's extra cash.

I would beware of scams as there are a lot out there especially if the 'at home' job offer asks for money upfront. I believe that the 'march of dimes' (organization to help prevent birth defects of infants) may solicit over the phone though not quite sure of the details of the job. Please make sure if working with a company that it has 'bricks and mortar', an actual mailing address and Not just a p.o. (post office) box number.

My favorite work-from-home job so far has been as a Bookwise Associate. It deals with books-- something I am passionate about and something that the large majority of people buy throughout the year, either for themselves or as gifts. That means it is easy to talk about with almost anyone wherever you are-- sometimes it hardly seems like a job! It's fun to be able to just assist people in achieving their dreams and goals--- and get paid for doing it!

It also provides opportunities for personal growth and development for Associates as well as their customers and frequent and unprecedented access to top coaches and motivators like Mark Victor Hansen, Richard Paul Evans and Robert Allen.

It is also nice to be involved with something that is actively contributing back to the community and the world. Bookwise donates thousands of books to promote literacy around the world.

There are a number of methods for doing sales with Bookwise-- the phone is one option, but only one of many.

Go to my profile, the website listed has work at home phone jobs (it is free). There is variety of phone jobs to choose from such as customer service, order processing, telemarketing etc. Some companies will hire you as an employee while other companies will hire you as a independent contractor.
