6 weeks pregnant, and on the road?

I just found out last night that my husband and I are pregnant.
6 weeks.

But, I have a full time job, a sales rep, and I'm in my car and driving all day. I love my job.

But, now I'm nervous about other cars hitting me. Or getting into an accident.

And I know this will continue for the next 8 months.

Suggestions?

If you're going to worry about every little thing that could happen to you, then why did you get pregnant? You obiviously wanted a child, so regardless of whether or not you love your job, the question should be.... should I become a hermit or live my life to the fullest?

You can't go around paranoid over stuff you have no control over. You don't want to stress yourself out over this.
I have the same type of job.. I am now 27 weeks and 2 days. It has been OK, I am just more cautious. As you get further along, sitting in the car all day will be trying for your body and it will wear you out. Take breaks during the day to stretch and just make sure you wear your seat belt.....
If you talk on your phone while you are driving you might want to try and hands free set that way you still have both hands on the wheel wich can make you feel more in control and can move your head around to keep an eye out for other drivers.
Iam also pregnant and have to drive everyday, all day back and forth stuck in L.A Traffic....But what i do to help me calm my nerves about getting into a accident is i talk to my baby...and also i pray alot thoug iam not a very religious person but hey it helpd me...Good Luck You'll be okay!!!
14 weeks Pregnant!
Just make sure you wear your seat-belt and if you can push your seat back a little further (and still comfortably drive) to create more distance between you and the air-bag go for it.

Ooooh, and be sure to have some zip lock freezer Baggies handy just in case you get sick, you can vomit without having to do a panic pull-over. I know it's gross, but it's also very practical.
