Part-time minimum wage jobs? |
I don't know what my problem is with working on the cash register or having a great deal of contact with the public but i get freaked out.I need a part-time job for temp. though and i am wondering what jobs are more behind the scenes? i know how you feel, my first job was in mcdonalds and can u imagine in a mall being a cashier while trying to remain fast. i couldnt handle it so they got me off. anyways.. now im going to have another job but you know what? i'm trying to not think about my past and my negative feelings. I want to start fresh and think positive. I want to concentrate on getting it right and knowing that I CAN DO IT. I want to start my job in a relaxed, calm manner. I dont want to panick while in training. You should try thinking this way too.. at some point in life, later, you will have to face similiar things.. so it's a good idea to start practicing and getting used to it because there are a lot of jobs deal with the public. But to answer your question, you can try office recipitionist jobs that can be offered part-time or type things for people and get paid for it, you know, jobs that lets you work independently and not be so much around people. Good luck! You could try and get a job stocking items in a store - I know a lot of wharehouse stores have jobs like this that require very little public contact. |
