Are There Any Part Time Jobs Available? |
Hi I have been looking in all of the wrong places cause you have to be 18 to work in most places but I have almost given up so now I am asking you to help me in my search of places that are actually hiring people under 18 but over 16. Please Help. I am in the Spring Hill to Homosassa Florida area. Any part time jobs please. Look at local fast food restaraunts, grocery stores, and department stores. These are usually good places for young people seeking part time jobs. the Rite Aid in Homosassa is hiring, go check there congratulations! youre still looking in all the wrong places! Illegal immigrants get first crack at all part-time jobs, they are allowed to accept less than minimum wage. Legal people don't stand a chance as there is 10 million of them here and given priority. Publix hires at 15 I think, McDonalds hires at 14. Chic-fil-A hires 16's craigslist I know huh, online job searches never brings a reply. Food industry would be your best bet or cashier. At 16 there is not too many options due to labor laws. well you can probably try local supermarkets, and if there is a mall near you, you can try younger children clothing stores, and shoe stores. stores like abercrombie kids, hires 17 year olds(where i am currently employed) also amusment parks usually hire at young ages and librarys also hire Yes. Try chain retail shops. It may be that there are so many people 18 and over looking for jobs that employers can afford to be a bit choosy. You might try volunteering for a few months at a local nonprofit. That would at least give you a track record and a reference. Couldn't hurt your chances! yes , but you have to relocate to china . sorry . Car Wash , Mow a lawn . Delivery papers/ pizza . Go to USPS.com and click on jobs. Pull up your area and look for casual positions. These are open all year and some plants work around the clock. While you are waiting for a call check out all the fast food, mini market, retail stores in your area. Any place place that caters or serves to your age bracket will hire you. |
