Does a midwife do similar jobs to a registered nurse? |
Which is better? And how do the average wages compare? Are you talking about a Certified Nurse Midwife, or a lay midwife who has no medical training other than the art of birthing babies? A CNM is obviously trained in nursing and provides nursing-based care. A lay midwife would perform similar patient care tasks, but would not perform the same kinds of documentation, etc. Thanx too The ReDesign Diva!
