Why is it so difficult to get a job in Canada as a Registered Nurse? |
I mean I am a foreigner guy of 27. I have Nursing degree in Brazil, I have tried over and over to get a job as a RN in Canada.. but They put too many barries to work there. However in the US , many hospital have a team of attorneys in order to fix your papers. Why does it happen? No offense to you intended...but over in Canada they like to keep the majority of jobs like nursing for their own Canadians. They've looked at countries like the UK where there are far too many foreign nurses (many who cannot speak clear English) and that the actual British nurses are working abroad to escape and the NHS is falling to pot. I imagine they don't want to follow in our footsteps. My uncle moved out there a few years ago and says they have quite a lot of Chinese and Indian immigrants in Canada....but they tend to do the typical "shop" and "factory" type work. |
