What kind of jobs can licensed practical nurses do or work?

This is one of the occupations in the highest demand. Look in the want ads, you'll find work faster than you can draw blood.

My mom is a lpn and she has worked at a clinic, a nursing home, and a hospital. If you're deciding where to work I would suggest a hospital. You get more expierence working at a hospital then anywhere else.

A Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN) should be able to get a job in any medical facility-doctors office,hospital,nursing home, or home health agency. Where you look depends on the type of work environment you are looking for.
It depends on where you work. Some places will let you do anything an RN can do as long as you know what you're doing, and some places will be more restrictive. At almost all places LPN's will pass medications, turn and toilet pt's as needed and do lot's of documenting.

Usually any differences between an LPN and an RN have to do with giving IV medications and making the final decision in tricky situations.
