How can I get a nursing job in massachusetts if I am a senior in high school soon to be college freshman? |
I am looking for a way to get some kind of nursing or hospital experience before my freshman year of college. Any info on summer programs or jobs in or around Boston,Ma would be apreciated as I am desprate for work and experience but very excited to learn all that I can. i will be a college freshman in the fall and i am 18 so i know there are some jobs i can do age wise I am looking for specific jobs or programs i can apply to if possible to get the info you can talk to your college counsler and ask if there is an intership you can take on at a local hospital. Or you can call the hospitals in your area and ask if there are jobs, internships or anything you can get going for yourself before you start college. These are long shots. Usually they offer these kinds of programs to you when you have a couple years of college under your belt. Or equivilent in a private program for nurses. Best wishes and good luck to you and bright future always. Some hospitals do offer office type jobs or simple nurse jobs, (Like running back and forth grabbing supplies for doctors and stuff.) That is a great way to break into your career and give yourself a hands-up! |
