Nursing aide- assists the nurse with vital signs, ins and outs, assisting patients to the restroom, etc. Staff nurse- nurse who directly cares for the patients on the floor or unit, not in a supervisory role. Nurse supervisor- nurse in charge of other nurses or nurse aides, but generally their boss is a nurse as well.
