Im an English nurse, emigrating to Canada...which city should i choose, Tor or Vanc? |
Would like warm summers and snowy winters. Love cafe culture, house music, clubbing and staying out late! Would have 拢100 000 to invest in property and I presume a job in critical care nursing would be secured before I leave Blighty. How about Calgary? We need nurses as we are in the middle of a boom. You definately get snowy winters here and warm summers, plus you can see the Rocky Mountains which are only an hour away to the west. Vancouver does not usually have snowy winters, although this year they are going through some horrible weather. Because they are seaside, they have a great deal of problems when it snows. Vancouver is beautiful though, Toronto didn't impress me much. I think Calgary is the place to be! |
