Nurse Benefits?

my friend swears that nurses can have a boob job and their noses done for only 40 bucks. i think its bullcrap but she says that shes heard it from several people. I just dont understand how u go from a 5 thousand dollar surgery down to 40 bucks. now im sure that the materials they use cant be that expensive, but im not buying it. Any nurses out there know about this? let me know

I am a nurse and i know nothing about this......maybe if i worked with dr rey 90210 or something then maybe i would get a discount. that is the only thing i can think of.....hey thats a great idea...if i ever consider surgery i think that i will apply for a job at a plastic surgeons office and get it real cheap!! You know there employees reflect..it's like free advertisement!
If that were true every nurse would look plastic. That is false.
My aunt is a nurse.
Unless she is sleeping with the doc that is not possible. Nurses have to have insurance and pay for everything just like everyone else does.
I have a friend that had a boob job, tummy tuck, and it cost her less than $100. She is a Nurse and it was her Doctor/Employer who performed this service and only charged her that much.

This isn't very common. But some doc's will do that for employee's and friends.
Your friend is not being truthful or has been lied to; I would not risk my license in doing an elective surgery that has the possibility of many complications. They may get a 10% discount saving 500 dollars. But why when the waiting period for breast augmentation with a reputable surgeon can be quite lengthy.
