What Job opportunities does a Licensed Vocational Nurse have? since you are saying LVN, i assume you are on the west side of the country. I hear that the west is phasing them out more than the east. In Indiana LVN's (known as LPN, licensed practical nurse), have many opportunities and on the floor I work on responsibilities are almost exactly as an RN. Outside of hospital work nursing homes are always in need and pay decently. You can work in a nursing home, clinic or hospital mostly on the med surge floor. the same as an LPN theres no difference check out the few vocational nurses jobs here; this may give you some idea http://www.idohealthcare.com/index.php?a... friend |
