What corporate or business type jobs can I get with my Nursing degree? (RN BSN)? |
(besides case management, working for insurance companies, or sales) I took an HHA class to get my feet wet. I was at one time interested in nursing, but changed my mind. Our instructor was an R.N., with a Bachelor's from Rutgers University. She was probably in her mid-to-late 30's, just a great person & very informative teacher. She told us that she was burned out in the nursing profession & went into teaching & just loves it & it showed. She also told us that there was a shortage of nursing instructors. How about it? What about coding? I would think you would be qualified to perform the duties of a coder. I believe they make a decent living. What about a transcription supervisor? I would think you would be qualified for this position, also. I am a medical transcriptionist & have several friends (nurses ) who I bug all the time with medical queries. I don't know what title you would hold or exact duties to be performed being the head of an Ancillary Department, but maybe this???These are all business-type jobs. I don't know about the corporate, though. You have a good education, you will be able to find something decent in this field. Good luck! Quality Improvement. Risk Management. To name a few. Use www.simplyhired.com It searches several job websites. They don't spam you, require you to register, or through ads at you. http://www.simplyhired.com/index.php?ds=... http://www.simplyhired.com/index.php?ds=... |
