Usually, the agency will send you to a facility, such as a nursing home. You go in and identify yourself and the charge nurse will tell you where to report and what they want. It is usually passing meds and doing treatments. It is not too much charting, except for skilled charting that has to be done q shift. You can make a lot of money with agency, but be warned that the facility will usually give you the job that other nurses do not want to do. For example, if one hall is harder than the others, that is where you will likely end up. You earn your money working agency! |
