Army Nurse? |
What kind of army job would be a good start to becoming a registered nurse after the military. And if your wondering, yes I am a male. And if you think its weird for a straight guy that wants to be a nurse, grow up. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank You Xray, respiratory or lab tech you will have alot of time to go to school while your in these specialties are not in combat arms units plus you will get an idea what nursing school will be like lastly you will have a skill when you get out that can make you some serious money while your going to school Look into the Army physician assistant program its better than nursing. Any questions shoot me an email Source(s): 14 Years in the Army Medical Corp I don't go to doctors who have male nurses, because they're LIKELY to not be straight, whether they are or not. Once I went to a dental office that had a boy assistant, and I ran out of there and down the street as fast as I could. I guess they couldn't call you a "nursette," because "nurse" is already female, and there's no masculine word for a nurse that I'm aware of. Maybe we could think of one. Medic, especially a Special Forces Medic dont go through the 91c program that is for LPN or LVN, the best way to do it is get your degree as an RN then join the natl guard you get commisioned as an officer & they have tuition reimbursment programs, & if anyone is givin you crap for being a male RN just keep laughing to the bank, im in healthcare & i know for a fact that RN can make 700$$ a day for real, but not in the military |
