What is the difference between a register nurse and a physician assistant in terms of job?

what about the salary difference is it huge?

The nurse is registered.
The registered nurse in simple terms follow the orders written by a physician and treats the patient accordingly. The physicians assistant can do the things that a physician does but on a lesser scale. they examine patients, write orders for the nurse, write prescriptions and order tests. Depending on the location of the employment salary would be similar.
