When referring to a Nurses job description, what does 'Endo' mean?

When a nurse says she can work Endo what does that mean? I just need to understand what patients/unit they work in. Thanks in advance.

ENDO=endoscopy, meaning using a flexible telescope to look in various body orifices. the most common uses are:

bronchopscopy- look in the windpipe (trachea and bronchus)
upper endoscopy- looking at the food pipe (esophagus and stomach)
colonoscopy- looking in the lower GI tract (rectum and large intestines)
Endocrinology. :) "is a branch of medicine dealing with disorders of the endocrine system and its specific secretions called hormones."

Works with people with diabetes, thyroid problems etc.
