Help! I'm going on a third interviewnext week for a marketing job and it's supposed to last 3 hours.?

What can possibly take place over the course of 3 hours given that this will be my 3rd interview? Has anyone ever had a 3 hour interview and is there any advice you can offer? thanks!!

Yes, those interviews are generally made up of the following type of things:

1. Multiple interviews (multiple people). I've done as many as 8 interviews during the "final round."

2. A newly hired employee will show you around the company (the fitness center, lunch room, etc). Then, they will have lunch with you to talk about their recent experiences.

3. There may be some testing involved such as technical skills, speaking skills, and writing skills. These tests are generally done on a computer.

Remember, each company is different in their hiring process - but the above 3 items is what I've seen.

You should take this as a very good sign! A 3rd interview means they are REALLY, REALLY interested in you! They may have another candidate or maybe you're their only candidate. I wouldn't be surprised if they made a job offer to you and then had you go through a lot of paperwork and preliminaries, such as an orientation, etc. Any tests and written screenings that would have taken a long time should have happened early in the process. At this point, it would seem to me that it's all over but the hand shake, pat on the back and the "welcome aboard" speech. Good luck!
