In need of marketing/ management job that can help me apply for "HIB" Visa?

Please I am in need of information in regards to a job opportunity in Houston Texas.

I am not eligible to work cos of my present immigration status. I will appreciate information on any company that will be willing to give me a job and at the same time help apply for a "H1B" immigrant status.

There are several companies in Houston that will sponsor an H1B for you like Shell, Comsys, Yelp, Wells Fargo, any of the energy companies, etc. Issue isn't you finding sponsorship, considering you are qualified for a Marketing role. The issue is that H1 visas are very difficult to come by right now - only 65k were issued this past year and within one day of filing all 65k were taken up. Those 65k won't even be issued until October 2007, which means even if you want an H1 sponsorship you won't even be eligible to receive one until October 2008!!

What you may want to do is this - apply to the companies where you find jobs that are interesting - use Hotjobs, Monster, SimplyHired, Craigslist, etc. Apply for the job and when they ask you about your eligibilty to work in the US, then propose one of hte following options:
1. Labor Cert Substitution - ask them if they have any available LCs to substitute for you - if they do, they can do an LC substituion before you even start. Once they do that, they can simultaneously file your I-140 & I485 and you can automatically get an EAD and have work authorization without getting an H1. It's difficult, because most companies if smart, already used all available LC subs - but you can still ask.
2. Ask them to place you in another office until they can get you an H1 - for example, maybe they can place you in their London or Canada office. It's easier to get placed in those locations, and then you can wait for your H1 to come through next year. And even if your H1 doesn't come through the following october, you can then transfer into the US site on an L1 visa!

Hope this helps, good luck!

For labor certification, you need to do everything the legal way. Why don't you ask the company in Houston to sponsor you? It's the only way to get the H1-B visa that you so desperatly want.
