Interview questions for Marketing job? |
Been an engineer for 6 years and studied engineering all my life. Wish to move towards marketing & sales. No formal education of marketing. Please help. Be prepared for situational questions. Engineering as you know usually backed up by pure facts and numbers, everything is measured, sometimes this is called hard science. Marketing is more soft science, there is a lot of guessing in regards to what will work, what will not when it comes to developing something new. My first source compares and contrasts engineers and marketers in the context of website analytics. My second source describes his interview with Microsoft regarding an interview for a marketing position. Source(s): http://www.jimnovo.com/newsletter-8-2004... http://www.sellsbrothers.com/fun/msiview... Yes. I have found McKenzie Scott most helpful. Now I have not hired them or paid them any fee to utilize their services, but I have taken their information and used it to my advantage. They are a firm which markets people's careers for a fee. They originally contacted me, as I am also currently seeking a career in marketing. They then sent me information and tools, including a book which includes questions and answers: Job hunting success, and rules to interviewing. Not certain how you would go about getting these tools. Try going to www.mckenziescott.com OR access them through: professionalopenings.com - this is the site I was posted on when McKenzie Scott found my info and contacted me. Good Luck! |
