I need help about marketing/communications job?

I'm in year 10 now, and im looking forward to go to uni for a double degree in marketing and communications.

Some of my friends, who wanted to do hospitality in uni, got a job as a waiter at a local restaurant. That would help them learn more about hospitality, and enrich their resume, too.

If i wanted to do marketing, or public relations, where should i work?

And also, i just recently moved to australia. (It's been 4 months now!) Im originally from Bali. And the education system here is very confusing for me! But i understand it a bit better now.

Im also a good writer, according to my teacher, but i've to struggle for a week or so, just to do a 2-page essay, because i've got little problem with english.

So, i need your advice guys!

In the United States, some of the cable companies offer scholarships and internships to people interested in marketing/communications. maybe there one in your area?

As for hospitality, you could work in a hotel (at the front desk). Might be better pay and easier work than being a waitress.
