Does a marketing job stifle creativity? |
I write in my spare time. When i wasnt working, i would dream, eat and live the book i was writing. But since i have started working i get home and stare at a blank screen? I have time to write but i cannot find the words. Because of the monotony of the day, yes I do think that the creative mind goes blank. As a writer myself, I know what you are going through. Yahoo Answers and my 360 page actually help stimulate my brain a bit. I also recommend you take a notebook or journal to work. Whenever you get of inspiration from your muse, WRITE IT DOWN ASAP! If you are in a meeting, and someting comes to you...act like you are taking notes by writing your idea down. Also....don't let this get to you, or you will get severe writer's block. Keep trucking, I'm praying for you! don't force yourself to write,me myself sometimes i find what i have to write when im on my bed :=) I completely agree. Need to take a break and just chill out on my own. |
