Hello Friends, I am going to attend interview for marketing job. Guide me? |
I need help on what are all the questions are raised by the interviwer? how to answer them, What body language i must maintain? How should i behave on that situation... Help me.... answer honestly. most interviewers can tell if you are trying to pull a fast one on them. questions can range from "what are your experiences", to "how do you cope with a certain colleague", to "how do you deal with an uncomfortable work surrounding, venue, person, job". they may also ask questions like "what are your strengths, and weaknesses" - do NOT say "my strength is that i work too hard" or something like that. say something that tells the interviewer about your personality, your character, your work ethic, your standards. in terms of "what are your weaknesses" - always put a positive twist to it. so say you are weak at maintaining a conversation, tell that you have been practicing, and seem to be getting better. body language: sit upright, make plenty of eye contact, dont cross your arms, its okay to cross your legs. dont mumble your answers, dont be too loud; but be clear and in control of your answers and thoughts. give an impression that you are confident, but not crazy. usually not a good idea to discuss salary requirements on the first interview, but if that comes up, say that you are open to most things; but do your own research - find out how much you are supposed to be making, and mention what the average is. so maybe answer by saying "well, the national average is around $50,000 (example), i am willing to work in that ballpark, or better". also, the interviewer will usually ask you "do you have any questions for me" - NEVER say "no, i do not". you should engage the interviewer - almost give him/her an interview as well. ask them the same type of questions: "why did you choose to work for this company", "how long have you been working", "what direction is this company heading towards", "what are the company's strengths and weaknesses". good luck! DO NOT fart just sell yourself!!!! Be confident and agree with most of what they say but throw in an idea of your own no matter how bad it is. Always let them be in control....pose no threat. Remember b/s for a marketing job. Also have a resume of course....you can embellish it....they'll like that....its good marketing! For this job u need to market urself to the interviewer through ur communication and convincing skills |
