I was thinking of moving to Las Vegas and I wondered is there a job market for any type of Management Jobs? Possibly in hospitality. Las Vegas Review Journal has the most ads online. Warehousing & Hospitality main areas. good luck live here the job market here is crazy.you don't drive a block without seeing a sign on a window billboard etc. if you want hotel employment it is a little hard to get a job @ a strip casino if you don't have casino exp. but you can get a job without a problem. i am unsure were you live know but the cost of living here is crazy....unless you live at one of the hotels with monthly rates then it runs about 700. to start for a nice apt. a house runs 950. for the cheap ones.....good-luck I live in Las Vegas and I am a business owner. There is a huge demand here for management talent outside the hospitality/convention industries. There is a fast growing technology sector with Quallcom, Cox communications and many software companies moving into the area, and the furniture industry has taken off like a storm. Things to keep in mind. Warm bodies are not hard to find in Vegas, everyone wants to be here. Employers mostly look for established skills, track record of success and stability. No one wants to hire someone who is not committed to staying in Vegas for the long run. So get here first establish yourself and go find you niche. |
