Mechanical Engineering Jobs?

I was wonderning if anybody knows that the current job market looks like for a B.S. of M.E?
Is it better to look over seas or try to stay in the U.S.?
What markets are looking for Engineers?

Job market is good right now, but with the increase in H1b's the pay isn't what it used to be. Still, it's okay for US citizens in defense industries so if you're an American, I'd stay here. Otherwise, you'll probably have to go to grad school to even be able to get a visa.

The job market in the US is slowly growing for mech engineers. It's better than the last few years. There are around a quarter million mechanical engineers currently employed in the US. I am sure you'll have no problem finding a job in the US. Mechanical Engineers probably have the widest choice of jobs among the engineering disciplines. They can work in any kind of factory from iron and steel plants to autoplants to food packaging. Additionally they can work for companies that design air conditioning or hydraulic systems or in power plants. All depends on what field you will like once you're in
