Where are there good jobs and low cost of living?

Right now I live in Florida, but it's pretty $$$$. Where else can I go that has a low cost of living (esp. housing market), good schools and a good job market?

southeast texas, cost of living is low and the jobs are everywere, they have so many jobs available that the staffing agencies are fighting each other for billboards
Maryland - I relocated here a couple of years ago. The cost of living is reasonable and jobs are everywhere. They are really building here and it is good to get in when things are going up.

Some parts are more expensive than others -but that is typical. Nevertheless, it is a good place to get a fresh start!

i have been searching for a place to live with the same qualifications and the only place I have found that meets my criteria is washington more so Grandview and the surrounding area. They have alot of industrial jobs that pay $$$$ and the housing is unreal I have found a place near Grandview 4bdrms 2 baths 2 1/2 acres for $121,000. no joke but if your not interested in an industrial job spokane and tocoma also have a huge volume for new jobs that pay big. you'd have to drive a little farther out for cheaper housing.But well worth the little extra drive.
