How are the Dental Jobs in your state? |
I am just curious as to how the job market is for a dental hygienist where you live. This is a small town but it has a very high demand for dental hygienists. I know that there has been one position advertised for 6 months at $35-55/hour as well as another that's been posted for at least 3 months without the pay listed. There is also a dental clinic at the Native hospital here in town which draws patients from a wide area but I'm not sure what the pay, working conditions or turnover is like there. Lots of Alaska is great for anyone with professional skills. I think they are kinda down in the mouth, They are exretmely expensive so they make good money, I used to know a girl who was a dental hygenist, she was making I think 14 dollars per hour. It depends on where you live. I'm a certified dental assistant and make $14 an hour and the hygienist is salary but she makes about $24 an hour. This is in West Virginia. |
