Are there jobs out there for Visual Basic Programmers? |
Just wondering as to the extent of the job market out there for this particular language. I hear a lot of "It's an easy language to learn, but noone really uses it." Is that true? You're better off learning java and c++. Then, you can move onto .net platform. Of course, the more langauge you learn, the better it is. visual basic is a just that... a basic program that is used in conjunction with other programs to achieve a goal. C++ certification is also another way to go. i belive it also incorparates vis basic language as well. i would do a job search and see what type of jobs are available in your area. In the end this will be the real telling factor because if you cant get a job what monitary value do your skilss have? best of luck to you Of course ,there are such as Sega Nintendo or people who produce cartoons like Warner Brother some casino also use those kinds of programmers. A lot of the programmers I work with use several languages, VB being one of them.
