What are the top 100 highest paying jobs? |
Im 20 years old, been relaxing, sittin on my butt. I need and am going to college. However, I dont want to waste my time going for the wrong job market. I want a career that is high paying. I have no idea what that is. People say do something you love, If im making good money, trust me I'll love it! I just need something to go for. What? Give me some ideas? Thanks to everyone who helps me with this question The highest paying job will be the one you are willing to invest a lot of time into, to become one of the best at it. Every job market has a bottom and a top. Really the only other option is to luck into cash via inheritance or someone helping you along. Since your are here I guess that's not a option for you. Since you are just materialistic you should pick out a job market that has the most opportunity for someone who only cares about money. You could be a bottom feeder such as a Ambulance chaser form of Lawyers. Or a salesman who calls up the elderly to sell them timeshares or burial insurance. A lawyer? And dustbin men. Both have high paying jobs. lol My careers teacher go to www.forbes.com and they have the list of highest paying jobs Trust me - ive had jobs earning lots and they didnt make me happy! ( and i know plenty of others earning good money who have left high paid salarys for job satisfaction!) working in city finance/corporate law /etc are always well paid if you can handle the pressure and stress and responsibilty and long hours, and back stabbing ! Lots of degrees will qualify you for that kinda work, but this is the next 35+ years of your life so try and think of the things you enjoy and are good at that will give you a comfortable lifestyle where you can earn a good living. A lot of people who earn loads have taken huge risks investing money in business ventures/ property development Either that or start hanging around the right place and marry some rich person and you will never have to work! i run my own small business, dont earn a fortune, but love it and am very happy have time to have a life - which is way more important than all the money Bill Gates has! You think you'll be happy in a high paying job, but that always isn't the case. You could be very miserable for all you know..and when you don't like your job, you dread going there everyday. I'd suggest looking at some of these high paying jobs, see what the job description is, then decide for yourself. I don't think you want to take a few years in college or university, then find out you've chooses the wrong career. some of the high paying jobs are Doctors ( lots in the medical field) Lawyers, CEO's, Big business owners to name a few. If you're interested, the medical field is always in high demand of people. Nursing is a good paying field, but you really do have to like it, because it's not easy work. |
