I keep hearing that the economy is booming in the U.S. Where are the jobs? |
I'm wondering where you live and how is the job market in that area? Here in Michigan, our unemployment rate for the state average (instead of by metropolitan area) are currently at 7.1%. Try looking under the trash of society. jobs in the paper every week in pa. most who don't have jobs here are too picky or don't want to work. In Texas there are a lot of construction jobs. I know that's not to everyones liking but the pay can be very good. It's so busy in some places that our income has gone up by about 50% this last year. I live in florida-there are lots of jobs here-probaby from 14000 to 35000 is the most common-like waitress resturant,blue -collar type-but there are professional too-I think our rate is 5% Not on the North Coast unless you can say " Do you want fries with that?" I don't think it is "Booming", it is slowing down actually.. |
