Got a job offer but want to know if its a real job... any experience with direct marketing agency's? |
I was offered a job at a local direct marketing agency and like every direct marketing agency that advertises on career sights they say the represent fortune 500 companies through direct marketing techniques selling things to businesses, there are sooo many of these little companies around... are they legitimate businesses? No they are not legit. Well they are legit, but you will not make money there. If you can sell things, there are plenty of jobs availble in sales where the sky is the limit. They say you can make money in MLM but you really cannot unless you sell a lot. If you can sell a lot, you should be doing something else. Remember if it sounds too good to be true it is. lign="right" > Sign in to vote! I would like to know specifically what you are talking about, but if it is MLM, if the company has been around for quite a few years, more than likely it is not a scam. I recently got involved with an MLM (oct. 06) and I'm making an extra $2,000 per year - doesn't sound like alot, but can you go to your boss tomorrow and get a $2,000 per year raise? At this point I'm in a standstill like many other people in the same company I'm in. However, because my desire to succeed is so strong, I have been researching the Network Marketing industry and have developed a system that will work. A system to introduce people who want to start a business to my company. I will then teach them to do the same thing I was taught in the beginning, and when that starts to slow down, I will introduce my system that works. MLM is MARKETING! It is a business of being a middleman to get the product to the end consumer. My whole point, just do your own research, and if you feel that you want it more than you are afraid of it, do it. Wise Decision Makers get all the details before saying it's a scam. Check this out - www.WiseDecision.info lign="right" > Sign in to vote! I work at home for a direct marketing company and will never do mlm's again. It is the way to go. I'm not sure about the advertising thing though, and I'd rather not stock and sell so I am only loyal to one company, not many. I'd love to give you a link but yahoo doesn't allow it, although they do allow you to see my profile and email. Good Luck!
