I will be working with a company that I admired but could someone give me advise on getting into the Marketing department from HR. Are internal transfers a common practice in Fortune 500's
well, i guess they wanted you but had no opening.... but being in HR you would be the first to know when there is one and should be well aware of the internal transfer procedures when that time comes. i would suggest doing an amazing job and impress this company enough to land that great marketing job when it arises. internal transfers are usually preferred over outside if they know the person on the inside does exceptional work. get to know them now and show them commitment and all that. good luck |
