Assistant Marketing Manager Position- Can I get the job? |
Hello All, I have a interview Friday for a Assistant Marketing Manager Position. I have a BFA in fashion with 4 yrs of design and 1 yr of Brand Management. I am a specialist in Intimate Apparel because that has been my focus for the past 5 yrs. I am going up against Business students who have the business skills that I do not. One thing I do have is more work experience, and a strong knowledge of the product while most business students have no idea of the process of fashion. I am flying out for the interview so thats a good sign I was told but I want to ace this interview but also feel confident that this is a job I can perform. By the way I am very resourceful. I am very good at finding the answer. How can I stand out? I absolutely think so. The way you express yourself concisely and explicitely gives a very good impression. If you want to stand out, read absolutely everything avaible on their webiste regarding the company, department, products, market, etc. Being from another industry could actually make you stand out positively. Show up with confidence, a great smile, lots of enthusiasm and a feeling that you are the right person for the job.
