Better job prospects-MBA operations or marketing?

iam doing a dual specialization mba. IT is compulsory, other i have to choose between "OPERATIONS or MARKETING", which has more demand in inidustry, more growth and better paid.

Marketing will be better-As a lot of consumer durable comapany are there it is a better prospect to get job easily.

I think the demand is about equal. Operations pay is not that great, if you can rise to senior management it is decent but not as much as the investment side. Marketing pay might be a little higher entry level.

I think you should choose based on your interest. Which are you more interested in? If your interest is higher you will be happier and feel more fulfilled by the job and your chances of going further and moving higher increase.

One note - Operations is constantly changing and there are alot of job cuts in that area.
