Anyone an experienced Marketing Executive willing to share some insight on their job??

I`m doing a project an need to find people who are currently working in the field in which i'm interested in. Anyone a marketing executive?? Do you need to have an MBA to be the most successfull? What kind of schooling did you go through?? Amount of time you spent in school.
Any help would be lovely. =]

Many positions in marketing are achieved through a sales path at first. You would need a college degree and an MBA would bump up the salary if you are looking at a large corporation. However, many marketing positions are now hiring fine arts majors becasue the organizaations are looking for less of a finacial perspective and more creativity! Hiring of grads with Masters of Fine Arts degrees is on the rise. Think in terms of more right brain than left brain for the marketing exec of the future!
Having a masters makes it a little easier to get a job. There are many facets to marketing but, You will become visible as a result of the visibility you achieve for the company. You need to have the brain to come up with creative slogans that set your company apart from others and identify your market..
