What motivates foreingers to come to China?

here is the deal , i wanna make a docu covering foreingers living in China ,,,lots of chinese are wondering what motivates those foreigners to come to China ,,is it just cos they have a hard time finding a job back in his own country ? or just for sightseeing ? or any other reason ?

China.. The awakened sleeping giant some says. Foreingers would like to visit china because of alot of different reason, it maybe for:
Business; lot of cheap goods are made from China
Pleasure; It's a big country to travel and tour
Knowledge; A lot of foreingers would like to study Chinese the second world language
Ancestral roots; Most cities in the world, you can probably find a china town, from United States to Malaysia... Even they are no longer born in China, they still look chinese, speak a little chinese and has the chinese blood

I'm Brit living in China. I came here to work for 6 months, but liked it so much I stayed here, bought a house and settled down. I came because I had always had a strong fascination with all things Chinese, even the name - China -made me shudder with pleasure.

However, I'm obviously a minority. Most foreigners I've met just come here to travel, and a lot of them are learning Mandarin, it seems to be the up-and-coming language for the future.
