Its ok if your mother tongue is not english. Its a fairly simple language (as compared to other languages like French). So, learning and speaking english is not that big a problem, and with practice you would get better and better.
I know many a chinese people who speak fluent english and they did not learn it at an early stage.

So, no need to lose heart, you should follow your heart, and if you want to know you are already speaking english ... isn't this post in english

Just be patient, we all make mistakes, learn from them. Rest assured, learning english is far easier then a lot of other things that life throws on us.

Good luck
i think you are letting other peoples opinion bother you. my grandmother is Scottish but has lived in England all her life she still has a strong Scottish accent. just be yourself.
Your English is quite good all ready. The only thing I can tell you is to keep on keeping on. Just continue what you're doing now. It seems to be working well for you.
Relax....it's ok!
in fact, u english it ok.
They said that just because they envy u fluency english.hehe:)

The best way to learn english is to saturate yourself with the language. read english books, watch english shows, practice writing in english, and of course, talk with other english-speaking people. If you still live in China wherein english is not practiced very much, it would be good for you to go to a place that you can find some people who are fluent in english. It is a bit hard but not at all impossible. You have to be patient though. If you want to get an english accent or american accent, the only way for you to do that is live in a place where the population is mostly americans or english. I lived in the philippines for all my life but i studied with americans for a year and that was enough for me to be able to speak american english.
I'm not a native speaker of English.
I've never been to any country where English is the main language spoken.
I've never quite have a formal education for English.
But I can definitely say that I can speak fluent English.
Maybe 80-90%, if not totally 100% native-speaker like.
basically I learned English from watching American movies.
And most of all, there's one motivation drive that kept me going until I could get the perfect English sound.
I want to keep up with my already-fluent-in-English brothers and sisters.
And I'd tell you something, not only I could catch up with them now, my English had definitely surpassed theirs^^
So I think, as long as you could keep yourself motivated, and keep up the hard work, there's no reason not believing that you could do it!
And maybe, having some kind of a rival might do too.. someone you can improve with, whose level of English is somewhat the same as yours or slightly higher, just to keep you want to work harder and harder...
