Why not unite with Mexico (and Canada)?

We can solve a number of problems...

1) No need to patrol the long border with Mexico to stop potential terrorists.

2) Plenty of cheap labor - instead of sending our jobs overseas, we can keep them right here...where the workers can spend their dollars right here in North America. Under the current situation, we send jobs to China/India and every yuan/rupee those workers earn is NOT spent in America.

3) With more people in a Pan-North-American nation, our economy will be bigger and China won't become the number 1 economy until many years later than is currently projected.

4) Access to Mexican, Canadian oil.

5) Increased trade with Spanish speaking South America.

6) For you people who might hate Mexicans and others, you will be able to hang out with whoever you want to....just as you do now.

This is actually one of the best politics moves the America, Canada, and Mexico could make. Economically the three would be amazing. Canada has the resources, Mexico has the labor, and the US has the technology. The US economy is more than stable enough to sustain the temporary impact on North America. Luckily we signed the NAFTA a few years ago and have been making this transition gradually.

Nothing could be more productive for the Mexican government than to come under the US Constitution, even though I don鈥檛 think it will play out like this.

The system that the Bush, Fox, and Harper administrations are pushing would work a lot like our current system of state and federal government would work.

The same people that are resistant to this type of integration also didn鈥檛 want to make Georgia a state because they were poor and not as educated as New Englanders. In the end, combining our economies, laws, and values will make North America a super super power.

Sounds like a great idea...we did it with the lousiana purchase...why don't we just buy both countries!
Cause both of those countries really do SUCK....Canada is totally liberal and Mexico is totally crooked.

Leave Canada out of it, you do not have a problem with real Canadians sneaking into your country. (except Celine Dionne ). We gave you John Candy and look what you did to him
