Why do unsucsessful people in America blame everything on the Latinos? |
Why cant they understand that the fact of life called "different times, different days" is a part of every human that has walked through this earth? ex. 1. Dot com era replaced many jobs in America starting in the 90's. 2. International competition drove many jobs overseas. (China, India) 3. Most important, competition. If theres someone out there that does the same job better than you do, youll be replaced. Why is it so hard for people to understand this simple fact of life and right away start making assumptions on UNdocumented immigrants taking their jobs away? Is this the true face of racism? Because unsuccessful people always want to blame someone else for their poor decisions. Groups always blame "different" groups for their problems - which is why civil wars still abound across the globe. In the U.S., we historically resent groups that have the "wrong" skin color or speak the "wrong" language. Undocumented workers do, in fact, pay a lot of taxes (including sales taxes) into the system, and are not eligible for federal welfare benefits. They also support businesses and local economies, in addition to entire industries (e.g. agriculture in California). Angry, bitter, unhappy people will always hate others, even though they haven't been injured by them in any way. Today, it's the politics of illegal immigration. In the past it was the Japanese business competitors or the jobs outsourced to India. Anyone who is a decent, moral, content person would not have contempt for someone who is merely trying to survive and feed his/her family. Unfortunately, most people are not content with themselves, so it is convenient to aim their anger and hostility toward a popular minority target. People prefer to have a tangible enemy than an intangible enemy like changing times and technology. i agree!!i hate it when people just blame the latinos for anything bad that's going on....!!! Whatever you choose to believe idiot!! Alberto, Alberto, Alberto....... Spending a little too much time listening to the nonsense justifying the existence of illegals by the open border lobby? Undocumented? PLEASE, use the proper term, ILLEGAL ALIENS, and get with the program, they're being exploited by unscrupulous employers treating them no better than the slaves they make themselves to be. They are not aliens.They are immigrants.Just like the katina people werent refugees they were victims It's not the "undocumented immigrants" taking jobs away, it is that those undocumented immigrants aren't paying into the system (taxes) and yet they are benifiting from said system. (Wic, Food Stamps, low cost health care), IF they were here legally they would be paying into the system instead of stealing from it. That's not racisim, that's reality. |
