I'm confused, am I democrat or republican?

I think individuals pay too much in taxes.
But, I think corporations pay far too little.

I own guns, for hunting and I catch and keep for fishing.
But, I think gas guzzlers and older car pollution fuels global warming. And China's even worse, with no regulations.

I understand the value of a capitalist economy, as it creates jobs and opportunities. But, I also believe that people are ultimately in business for one thing, and that's to make money. Corporations, just like the people that run them, will commit crimes to get ahead. Therefore, they need to be regulated by the government to ensure they don't screw us over.

I buy American made every time, when I get the choice. I even pay extra.

I am pro life and no special rights for homosexuals.

I am sick of working-class jobs going overseas. And I'm sick of executive excess pay and bonuses with no requirement of competence with their only business plan to outsource US jobs to Communist China.

I would look at each candidate and see what rings true to you. By the way, I don't think Homosexuals are looking for special rights. Think they're only looking for equal rights. There really is a big difference.
You are a little of both and even some independant. You would be a great Democrat and they would love to have you. Not everyone has thought all of this out so eloquently as you have. We have elections tomorrow and I bet 50% of the voters couldn't sum it up as good as you can. I am a Democrat. I don't have 100% agreement with the party platform all of the time but they do fit me best. You might want to attend a lunch meeting of both parties and check out the vibe of the people there. That is how I made my decision.
