What is the future?, entrepreneur or office/manual job? |
what should ppl do these days, it seems every week u hear companies downsizing becuase of competition and then if your living in the west, they give your jobs to india or china. so i was thinking shouldn't we instead be just working for ourselfs, find a niche and then be the best? or aim big or whatever, but be working for YOU, and not anyone else, since there is no more job safety. what do u think? there are plenty of employment oppurtunities that can guarantee you job safety lign="right" > Sign in to vote! It depends on individual's interpersonal skills, if a person is more keen on inventing new things or is creative, he should become enterpreneur. If he is not creative, then he can work for the creative enterpreneurs. I think in future also both enterpreneurship and office/manual jobs will be existing simultaneously. lign="right" > Sign in to vote! well I'm trying to get my own business going. Being an entrepreneur takes hard work, dedications, creativity, sacrifice, also leadership skills, etc . If your willing to give it your all then you should go for it. It's always good working for yourself, so you wont have to worry about getting fired and all that other things we all deal with working for someone else. lign="right" > Sign in to vote! Truth is, not everyone has the spirit/skills/right attitude to be a good entrepreneur. Most people are simply good at what they do (be that marketing, football, driving or whatever), and the world does need it's professionals in order to go on. As long as you're among the best at what you do, there is no way your future is compromised. Because new companies are emerging every day, and new jobs are easy to get once you have a solid reputation. Biggest mistake I've seen so far is good professionals quiting their jobs because they thought they weren't getting enough credit for their work, and could do better on their own. Of course, they didn't think about the fact that being a good entrepreneur takes at least as much talent and hard work and right spirit as to become a good professional. They just thought it's free money. So, no, I don't think everyone should make their own business. |
