This is a survey on job outsourcing, only serious answers please!!?


Hypothetically, a company you do business with on a regular basis (utility, health insurance, sales/service, manufacturer) is outsourcing jobs to India and China because the labor is cheaper. Does your opinion of the company change and, if so, how?

Yes, I think they are progressive, and cutting edge. I would be more inclinded to deal with them.
Yes, I feel they are not thinking about people they are thinking about thier bottom line. I won't buy/use a company if I don't have to that does this. I think they should use the American public. So many people are hurting for jobs right now and the Comp. that go out of the US are basicaly "slapping them in the face" as far as I'm concerned.
Be positive. The company needs to cut costs or slash pays. Now they will operate in China & India for lower cost. It gives you the opportunity to manage there and get higher pay.
