Why are there homeless proud Veterans in the USA?

NASHUA, N.H. - Republican presidential hopeful John McCain praised a new apartment building for homeless veterans as a welcome contrast to the shoddy conditions recently revealed at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington. Many veterans end up homeless due to a great many jobs going to Communist China and of course the war supporters do not care about the Veterans. Shame on the USA.

I think it is a sin how they are treated by our government
Well you have to remember that most of these veterans faught in Vietnam which was a draft and there was a lot of drug use, specificly stimulants such as phetamines, when they got out they were shows absolute disgust by the liberals and called babykillers, further adding to their stress, and getting jobs wasnt easy because they had been in combat arms for quit a while which isnt the best ona resume unless your trying to be a cop. Mainly drugs though unfortunately.

I agree though they should at the least get free housing.

War supporters care deeply about the veterans, we are the ones visiting VA hospitals and not complaining on Y!Answers like you liberals.
That's nonsense. Veterans can go to any VA Hospital in the United States. The majority of Vets are not homeless, just as the majority of Americans are not homeless. And no one is homeless because our jobs are in China! You had to have graduated from college!
Combat infantry (and similar MOS's) don't leave the military with many marketable skills.
