Computer programming or Electronics? |
Which one should i study in school? Which will give me a better career? I heard a lot of programming jobs are going to be sent over to China and India. So is it a bad idea to get started with programming? computer programming will net you a better income if you have the propensity for it and can stand the boredom, my husband is a network analyst and he nets 80,000 in the 7th year, he took just IT, computer programmers make about $100,000 average and electronics not much unless you get picked up by TE or something. lign="right" > Sign in to vote! Learn electronics. In fact, both are at peak.By taking "ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS" as your branch in engineering you may get job as a software engineer. lign="right" > Sign in to vote! What i suggest prefer to take electronics bcoz it will cover both computer prog and circuit designing plus all the other aspect where as a computer prog u can only cover the one side lign="right" > Sign in to vote! Well , actually i experienced a problem like this when i joined univeristy , do i study programming (Cs) or Networks (IT) , so i chose what i liked , which is programming , but through time , i discovered , that the main way to program or learn programming language , is urself and a book , it doesn't need 4 years of subjects and stuff , anyway , i recommend u studying electronics , because the probability of you learning circuits and physics and stuff like that by yourself will be small , actually electronics needs a teacher , but programming , just needs selfdependency , so u can learn programming in highschool and thats it , or u can learn electronics , and have programming as a second goal to achieve at home through reading and internet ? and i recommend the second. |
