Can we trade Taiwan to the Chinese in return for North Korea?

Most people in Taiwan still view themselves as Chinese anyway. With the exception of certain politicians who have a vested interest in being a separate nation, most Taiwanese wouldn't mind reuniting with China.

In exchange, China could help us reunite North Korea with South Korea and its strong economy. The North Koreans will get fed and get jobs. South Korea and Japan won't have a nuclear North Korea to fear either.

Time has past too long for any reunification...the generation now in Taiwan has never know Chinese...only from their parents...very similar to the US and England.

We outgrew them...and I think the Taiwanese have outgrown China. It's a different county different points of view, different everything...china is living in the past if they think Taiwan had anything in common with their communist system.

They are free!

They wouldn't mind reuniting aslong as China guarenteed that they wouldn't impose communist rule, Taiwan wants to keep the market economy.
